On 20th October 2016 BIM conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development. The main topic was to point out the project of BIM technology in Slovakia and abroad and to draw attention to the specifics of the process of designing and managing the construction of the BIM.
The conference was goaled for all participants in the investment process: from architects, designers, construction managers and trading companies operating in the construction market, developers and investors, facility managers and building operators. The aim of the conference was to highlight the benefits of using BIM technology in practice in Slovakia.
In the opening of the conference, as the first spoke SKSI chairman prof. Vladimír Benko, later President of the Chamber of Architects Ing. arch. Imrich Pleidel (Chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Architects) and the third Ing. Pavol Kováčik, PhD., MBA – President ZSPS (Association of Construction Entrepreneurs of Slovakia).
Conference participants were also allowed discussion after each topical lectures, which had a positive reaction.
